Some info I found on the net abut this box.

The company that makes this stream box is uyesee you can find them at: http://www.uyesee.com.
   OpenWrt , r1092
It obviously runs off the mach file of the TP-Link TL-WR703N.
The system has two users configured: root and airmusic.
The password for user "airmusic" is "123456". However you won't be able to login due to the login shell being "/bin/flase" (sic!).
For root I don't know the password. However the machine is able to boot in failsafe mode and I was able to reset the root password.
The bootloader does not react to entering "tpl" after "Autobooting in 1 seconds"
For audio it uses the driver from http://www.socfreq.com/i2s/i2s.zip
The MAC Address OUI is actually registered to the OEM and not a fake one like on many other Chinese devices

OEM Website: http://www.netcom-3c.com/en/products/detail.asp?id=187

Extracted the Root-FS using Firmware Modification Kit. Checked out /etc/passwd and found:

root:KgWQIjYw4jNh.:0:0:root:/root:/bin/ash
   SoundMate:l2xpPLw75h.6.:111:111:SoundMate:/tmp/mnt:/bin/flase

After a few hours trying to brute force the hashes and internet searches, I found this post: https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=50512.

Change the username and the passwords are the same; SoundMate/123456, root/ifconfig.

With the root password you can login to the telnet port and check it out. The dmesg info shows some other interesting info: SoundMate_dmesg.

 root@SoundMate:~# dmesg
   Linux version 2.6.39.4 (jh@srv64) (gcc version 4.5.4 20110808 (prerelease) (Linaro GCC 4.5-2011.08) ) #2 Mon Oct 27 19:51:58 CST 2014

   SoC: Atheros AR9330 rev 1
   Clocks: CPU:400.000MHz, DDR:400.000MHz, AHB:200.000MHz, Ref:25.000MHz

   MIPS: machine is TP-LINK TL-WR703N v1

Atheros AR71xx hardware watchdog driver version 0.1.0

So there is another bonus, TP-Link TL-WR703N. There is a great community with many mods available for that router. While the SoC is the same, it comes with an audio card (analog and digital outputs)

I had no problem connecting to it with itunes or WMP. Once you connect it to your home network it will show up as a network renderer.

I also use the android app ( Shareon audio) to stream music to it.

Package List:
1 * Wifi Audio Receiver
1 * Audio Cable
1 * USB Cable
1 * User Manual(English)

Hi. Received an M1 yesterday. can't see it on my network. i can only stream to it if using it's own ssid. do you know any solution to this? using a draytek 2820N router.
It's really important that i can use it on my router SSID because that's where my Synology and my music is... also... can i flash the airmusic nw11 to this device? they seem alike... because every download for firmwares on the official site is broken and I can't find it anywhere...
